In mylar-covered pictorial dustjacket with a few marks on front cover. Otherwise like new. Original manuscript in the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books, Toronto Public Library. Story dates to 1831 when the author presented her young nephew with this book for his birthday. It's her own version of the Story of the Three Bears, in verse with watercolour illustrations. Commentary by Judith St. John at rear.

Toronto: Toronto Public Library. Very Good. 2010. Facsimile. Softcover. 0920601685 . [32] p. 12.5 x 15.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cardstock covers. Lightly shelf rubbed. One leaf has a small edge tear and crease. Last three leaves are narrower and as a result two of them were missed in trimming and are unopened. Otherwise inside pages are unmarked. A facsimile edition of the earliest known account of the Three Bears, which features an old woman instead of Goldilocks. The facsimile was printed from a copy in the Osborne Collection of Early Chilren's Books in Toronto. Shipping costs may be reduced due to weight and size of book. .
