When did you get started in bookselling?

I opened my first bookstore in 1986, I was 22 years old then, in Kavala somewhere in the North of Greece. The name "Enalaktiko Biblipoleo" ("Alternative Bookshop"). After 6 years I sold it and worked 2 years at a book wholesaler in Thessaloniki. In Greece we say "learn a craft and leave it and when you go hungry take it up again", about 25 years after I took up my old trade as a bookseller this time with the "e-" attached.

What drew you to bookselling?

I was a reader and a book lover from very young

What are your specialties as a dealer?

Art Books, Tobacco, Italian Agriculture

What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?

Of being a old book seller, that each book is carrying a history to narrate.

Do you have an open storefront or have you in the past?

At this moment I do not have a store front, but had in the past.

If so, do/did you have any bookstore pets?

I had a cat that used to sleep on the displayed books in front of the window and most of the time lloked like it was dead.
