Description:
Philadelphia and New York: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. The sixth Travis McGee mystery, originally published as a paperback original in 1965 and in hardcover in the UK in 1967. This is the first US hardcover edition and one of the earliest McGee titles to be published in that format in America. First edition (first printing with no statement of later printings). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket. Slight spine slant and light shelfwear to the boards. The jacket is a touch spine faded, as usual, with wear to the corners. The jacket is the correct first printing jacket, with the code 1072 and a $5.95 price on the front flap. A very presentable copy of an uncommon hardcover.
