The dust jacket is lightly creased with the head & tail of its spine lightly chipped & the top edges of its folds darkened. 97 & [3] pages plus colophon. Very good. <p>First edition.<p>The title translates as "Between one and two of the Elizabeth Bridge". Elizabeth Bridge is the third newest bridge of Budapest, Hungary. It connects Buda and Pest, spanning the narrowest part of the River Danube [290 meters] in the Budapest area. It is named after Elisabeth of Bavaria, a popular queen and empress of Austria-Hungary who was assassinated in 1898. Today there is a large bronze statue of Elisabeth in the middle of a small garden at the Buda side of the bridge.
