About This Item
France: Royal Naval Air Service, 1917. Wonderful Christmas and New Years card in orignal stapled covers, brown with gilt lettering and design on front. Inside there is a poem by Cheshire and a lively illustration of the Air Service successfully attacking a German ship - all "passed by censor". Once tiny "best wishes" greeting in upper left hand corner over the poem. Clearly an almost impossible piece to find,. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good.
