14 original score sheets in Tony Miles's hand. (Quarto 11 3/4" x 8 1/4") Two of the score sheets were not signed (Dzindzichashvili and Ljubojevic.
The Tilburg chess tournament was a series of very strong chess tournaments held in the Tilburg, The Netherlands. It was established in 1977 and ran continuously through 1994 under the sponsorship of Interpolis, an insurance company. Fontys Hogescholen shortly revived the tournament series from 1996 to 1998, when the last edition was played. Since 1994 there is another annual chess tournament taking place in Tilburg, which has the name De Stukkenjagers, the field is generally much weaker than the traditional Tilburg tournament. The 9th Annual Interpolis Chess Tournament held in Tilburg, the Netherlands in 1985 was a category XV event. The eight participants of the double round robin were (in order of ELO): Jan Timman (2640), Viktor Korchnoi (2630), Robert Huebner (2620), Ljubomir Ljubojevic (2615), Lev Polugaevsky (2600), Oleg Romanishin (2590), Roman Dzindzichashvili (2570), and the previous year's winner, Anthony Miles (2560). This year marked the shift in the Interpolis event at Tilburg from a round robin to a double round robin. It was during the third round game against Romanishin that Miles began to suffer extreme back pain. He was forced to take powerful painkillers and lie flat on a massage table during his games in order to participate in the remaining rounds. However, this didn't stop Miles from winning his second title in a row, sharing it this time with Korchnoi and Huebner.

Book Conditions Explained
Biblio’s Book Conditions
As New
The book is pristine and free of any defects, in the same condition as when it was first newly published.
Fine (F)
A book in fine condition exhibits no flaws. A fine condition book closely approaches As New condition, but may lack the crispness of an uncirculated, unopened volume.
Near Fine (NrFine or NF)
Almost perfect, but not quite fine. Any defect outside of shelf-wear should be noted.
Very Good (VG)
A used book that does show some small signs of wear - but no tears - on either binding or paper. Very good items should not have writing or highlighting.
Good (G or Gd.)
The average used and worn book that has all pages or leaves present. ‘Good’ items often include writing and highlighting and may be ex-library. Any defects should be noted. The oft-repeated aphorism in the book collecting world is “good isn’t very good.”
Fair
It is best to assume that a “fair” book is in rough shape but still readable.
Poor (P)
A book with significant wear and faults. A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce. Any missing pages must be specifically noted.
