There is slight tanning to edges of boards, and light bumping to spine ends and extremities. The pages are uncut, clean and bright. Includes 13 full page pochoir plates, 6 in-text and illustrated map endpapers of Kew Gardens and Kew Green. Robert Herring was a poet who edited 'The London Mercury' and 'Life and Letters Today'. Edward Bawden was an illustrator of books and posters, who became the official war artist of WWII. This is a vibrant and uncommon book.
