Vol. 1: [2], 463, [1] p., [2] leaves of plates (including added t.p.); v. 2: [2], 475, [1] p., [2] leaves of plates (including added t.p.). Engraved frontispiece and title page each volume by Thomas Uwins, engraved by Charles Turner Warren."Memoirs of a Lady of Quality (inserted as ch. 81) are by Frances Vane. First published in 1751 by D. Wilson in 12mo, this most likely the first in 24mo and with the Uwins engravings. Very Good in contemporary quarter calf over marbled boards, back with gilt ecorations and lettering over yellow leather label. Toning to end pages and light scattered toning throughout, edges of boards rubbed. Binding tight, a charming set. . Later Edition. Quarter Calf . Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.
