Oblong 8vo, color pictorial wrappers (small cracks at fore edge and short closed marginal tear on second leaf). 48 leaves open into a panorama in color of six meters representing the annual parade of the wine-growers. The procession includes, Swiss military musical corps and guards, other musical groups, gardeners, shepherdesses, the Roman harvest goddesses, Ceres and Pales, Bacchus, Silene , the vineyard workers, women in costume of the 22 Swiss cantons. The illustrations are by E. Vuillmin after the costumes of P. Vallouy. . Color Pictorial Wrappers. Very Good.. Illus. by E. Vuillmin... Oblong 8vo.
