There is some light foxing to the binding & the slipcase with a horizontal line of light soiling to the front panel of the slipcase. [x], 90 & [1] pages. Illustrated with black-and-white drawings by Lewis Carrroll. The contents are fine. Very good. <p>There is an introduction by Luther H. Evans of Columbia University (formerly Librarian of Congress) who helped a group of Americans raise money to buy the original manuscript at auction in order to present it as a gift to the British Museum in London. "Alice's Adventures Under Ground" is the forerunner of "Alice In Wonderland" and is substantially the same.
