About This Item
Eugene: University of Oregon, Museum of Art, 2004. Paperback. Very Good. STAPLEBOUND. Minor shelfwear. Black lettering on front of illustrated white covers. With 88 images of iconic screenprints. Self-Portrait on frontispiece. 40 pp. Clean, bright, solid. Screenprints from the collection of the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation. Warhol used the ever expanding consumer culture to create his pervasive images and was a pioneer artist in "challenging our views of how existing images, such as the label of a Campbell's Soup can, become great art in themselves," (acknowledgements).
