New York: Grosset & Dunlap. Good+ in Very Good- dust jacket. 1943. First Edition. Hardcover. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; HC/DJ. 1st edition. Soundly bound in original color pictorial dust jacket, matching the color design of the paper covered boards. Of the 6 mechanical pages, 3 are in VG working condition with light wear to the "tab" while 2 are broken but with all pieces present (requiring repair) and 1 has parts missing. Jacket is jusy slightly rubbed to edges but has thin swaths of dust soiling along the top and bottom edges of the cover panel. Mild offset toning to endpages from the lining sheets. Other than the 3 defective mechanicals the book is quite bright and neat. G+/VG- .

New York, (1943): Grosset & Dunlap. Quarto. 24 unnumbered pages. Julian Wehr (1898-1970) was known as the "American Master of Animated Books". He patented his process which used a variety of media. Most of his collection is housed at the University of Virginia, Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library. This book has six moving illustrations, constructed on double pages. Spiral bound in color pictorial boards with the color illustrated dust jacket. A very nice copy with a few chips at the lower edge of dust jacket and upper corner with a small piece torn away, small closed edge tear to rear panel and tiny chip to lower edge, light rubbing or finger soiling.
