Bottom of cover edges and spine heel show moderate rubbing and shelf wear; smooth, straight spine, no bumping to spine top and corners; gift inscription on both front and rear free end-papers; red cloth boards with gilt stamping, which is still crisp and bright. Price-clipped dust jacket has mild shelf wear with a bit of chipping along edge and spine ends; soiled spot on rear panel; now in protective Brodart cover. Overall, a lovely copy of this fairly scarce book. Includes b&w photos and illustrations, foot notes, sources, and index.. Signed by Author. 2nd Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good+/Very Good+.
