Clean hardback tightly bound in turquoise half-leather over blue cloth, gilt titles & 5 raised bands at spine, leather is rubbed at corners, attractive bookplate (of the famous American naturalist William Beebe) on the front pastedown, no inscriptions. 602 pages (paginated from 313 - 915), large folded map at rear has a neat 3" repaired tear at one corner .
