Edinburgh: The Richard Demarco Gallery, 1972. Folio (40.5 × 29.5 cm). Original staple-stitched photo-illustrated self-wrappers; [52] pp. In English and Polish. Illustrations throughout. Very good. A catalog for an exhibition of avant-garde Polish art presented by The Richard Demarco Gallery in 1972, held as part of the Edinburgh International Festival. The exhibition, which aimed to bring art of the East to the West, was assembled with the help of Ryszard Stanisławski of the Łódż Museum of Art, an important center of modern Polish art of the time. Introducing the exhibit Richard Demarco wrote: "This year's exhibition of Polish art could enable Festival-goers to appreciate fully the achievements of a significant group of avant-garde artists who work successfully within a Socialist system of patronage because the exhibition will be seen to be in itself a total creative activity." According to the catalog, the exhibition featured performances, installations, video and sound works as well as graphic art, sculpture etc. and included work of artists such as Zbigniew Warpechewski, Natalia Lach-Lachowicz (Natalia LL), Magdalena Abakanowicz, Jerzy Beres, Wojciech Bruzewski, Jan Chwałczyk, Wanda Czelkowska, Stanislaw Dróżdż, Tadeusz Kantor among others. The Film Form Studio (1970-1977) a group that worked at the intersection of film and contemporary art and the experimental Cricot Teatre also presented their work. The catalog provides a full-page image and bio of over forty Polish contemporary artists, capturing the artistic climate of the period.

As of June 2020, KVK and OCLC show six copies in North America.
