USA: USA: Clayburn S Moore Creations, 1996, 1st (and only) issue, Limited Edition , 1996. -----------( LIMITED EDITION ) ---cold-cast porcelain statue of FRAZETTA's PRINCESS, based on the character DEJAH THORIS from the Mars books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, issued in 1996 by Clayburn Moore Creations, statue is about 8.25 inches high, base is about 6.5 inches wide, --sits on a dark wood circular base which is about 7 inches wide x 1.25 inches thick so the overall height of statue and base is over 9 inches tall ---looks very nice, base of statue shows the limitation and production information, both the statue and the base are in Very Fine condition, might be a bit dusty but this has been displayed as part of a book collection with subdued lighting and NO exposure to sunlight, this statue and base has the original box, box measures about 12h x 9.5w x 8.5 inches deep, box is also numbered to match the statue, box overall is Near Fine with a bit of rubbing, ---a lovely production which would make a… Read More

Dennis Dobson , 1955. 1st Edition. Hardcover. F/NF. 1st Edition, 1st Printing. 12.5 x 19cm. Publisher's original dusky rose coloured boards with gilt titles to the spine, 191pp, together with original dust jacket priced at 9s 6d. Noting a light dust mark near the top of the upper joint, the boards are in fine condition with no shelf-wear. The spine titles are beautifully bright and fresh. All fore edge corners are firm, sharp and square. The binding is very tight and square, such that the book appears unread. There is a little tab of paper, 2 x 5mm, at the bottom fore edge of p125/126 that extends out from the text block, where it has not been cut properly in production. Internally, there is age related acid migration toning to the endpapers and a light vertical band of it on the pastedowns. There is no name, inscription or bookplate and the pages are beautifully clean with no spots, marks or blemishes. First British book club edition of Bester's landmark science fiction novel (published in the United States as "The Stars My Destination"), following by two years the Sidgwick & Jackson first. First book club edition. Small octavo (7.5 x 5 in.); 231pp; blue textured-paper boards, in dust jacket. Mild sunning at spine ends, light toning to textblock. Jacket spine panel toned, 2" closed tear at base of spine, and with a shallow band of loss at head, extending ~1.5" onto front panel. Near fine in a very good (-) jacket.

London: Michael Joseph. Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1956. First English Edition. Hardcover. A particularly bright copy of this scarce cult post-apocalyptic novel which is certainly the authors best known work. The basis for the 1970 movie “No blade of Grass”. A particularly bright copy with the normal faded white lettering on the spine looking like new. The only defects being a very slight 2mm tear on the front end paper and a small indent on the back end paper. The binding is tight and the book possibly unread. The DW has one small chip at the top of the spine very slight edgewear and small tears (about 2mm each) at the top and bottom of flaps but with no loses. Some discoloration from dust on the white lettering of the spine, but with no obvious fading. Jacket is unclipped (10s6d) and now in a protective acetate cover. A superb collectable copy of this scare book. Fine book in a VG+ or better Dust Jacket. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 230 pages .
