Dr. Nyiszli was a pathologist who worked with Josef Mengele in the Auschwitz concentration camp. His first hand accounts were originally serialized in the Hungarian newspaper Vilag in 1946, and re-published in Jean Paul Sartre's journal Les Temps Modernes in 1951. The Frederick Fell book was the first appearance of this memoir in book form.
Uncommon in this edition. Only two other copies currently listed online.
Condition of the book is Very Good. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete and unmarked.
Condition of the dust jacket is Good. The DJ is complete, not price clipped. It shows moderate shelf wear. The DJ is protected in a new mylar cover.
