Very good. - Over 100 words penned on 11 inch high by 8-1/2 inch wide "The Pratt Graphic Art Center" creamy white stationery with the Center's name and address printed in black & red in the top left column. Writing to the editor of American Artist magazine, the founder of the Pratt Graphic Art Center, Fritz Eichenberg expresses his gratitude for "the splendid article on the PGAC". He goes on to say that the article "... really covered intelligently and discerningly all phases of our many activities, and it will help us, no doubt, in our future efforts to spread the gospel of printmaking all over the world...." Signed "Fritz E." The letter has been heavily edited in red ink by Norman Kent, the editor of American Artist, for publication in the magazine. Several words are crossed out and the magazine's name is penned in for clarity at the end of a sentence. "Pratt Center" has been penned in at the top, the last 6 lines have been circled and crossed out in pencil and Fritz Eichenberg's full name subsequently penned in blue ink by the editor at the bottom. The letter has been folded for mailing with minor creases to the edges and staple holes at top left. Very good.
