The boards are flat, quite firm and a little marked; spine ends and corners bumped. Tanned rear free end paper; the front end papers are unmarked. Name of previous owner on front free end paper. Lightly tanned cut edges. The text block is tight, straight and not tanned or marked - good plus condition - with slight warp to some pages. Illustrated with b/w plates; one is loose. Without jacket.

Both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have visible rubbing and moderate bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and heavier rubbing to spine.
