Book has library markings (labels, stamping, cardholder, etc.), some bumped corners and cover edgewear, lightly cocked, light discoloration and shelf wear. This is a sequal to the Author's "The Ballad of Rocky Ruiz" and continues the author's use of the world of Chicano culture and history. The main character is the Denver lawyer Luis Montez who is reviving his career and keeping out of trouble. An old friend asks for his help though and he ends up in the middle of several messes. His efforts take him from the barrio, bars, and courtrooms of Denver to the casinos of Central City, to the rural San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, and finally to a fiesta in New Mexico. 8.5"x5.75", 179 pages.
