Red cloth hardcover; gilt titles; 131pp. Slight overall wear, with scuffs to boards at corners; internally clean, textually unmarked but for the contemporary ownership signature of a Wilbur Klein, dated 1935. Author Stanley "Bucky" Harris, a Hall of Fame player-manager for the Washington Senators from 1924 to 1927, would go on to a 29-year career as a manager, the fourth longest in Major League history.

Quarter-coin sized droplet stain lower front panel, rubbing to the spine strip with some small spots worn thrught atthe head of the spine. Light even soiling. Important early 20th century baseball title, an instructional by Bucky Harris, the "Boy Wonder" player-manager of the 1925 World Champion Washington Senators.
