Bound in blue cloth stamped with white lettering. Edges age tones. Front endpapers offsetting from loose newspaper clipping. Dust jacket top edge closed tears, lightly rubbed. A handsome, presentable reprint of the 1938 first published by the Museum of Modern Art. Typography and cover design by Bayer. The dust jacket is conceptually the same as the first and subsequent printings, but varies in color combination and placement of dates. Dust jacket now preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
