New York: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, (1977)., (1977).. Very good. - Quarto [13-1/4 inches high by 10-1/8 inches wide], white buckram titled in gilt on the spine. The book is housed in a blue paper covered slipcase with a printed paper label on the spine & a black-and-white pictorial label on the front panel. The spine & extremities of the slipcase are faded. There are some white marks to the rear panel & a light stain to the label. Title, half-title & [iii] pages plus unpaginated facsimile. The poems & Raoul Dufy's black-and-white woodcut illustrations are printed on one side of the leaves only, with the translations on the versos. Fine in a very good slipcase. <p>Printed by the Stinehour Press.<p> Illustrated with woodcuts by Raoul Dufy. (Facsimile). Translations by Lauren Shakely.
