New York: J. S. Ogilvie Publishing Company, 1918., 1918. First edition. First edition. 12mo. Color pictorial wrappers, vi, 190 pp. plus 8 pages of advertisements, frontispiece, preface, illustrated, advertisements. Daring in their exploits, the gang members turned their backs on laws they found to be criminally flawed and stole horses, bootlegged whiskey into Indian Territory, and committed the first American train robbery. Six Guns 548 says "Scarce." Emmett Dalton was the only survivor of the famous Dalton Gang. Pictorial images of each of the Dalton Brothers affixed to the free front fly leaf and minor wear to the spine else a fine copy of a book that is seldom found and when found, always in poor condition. This copy is exceptional. Housed in clamshell case.
