Hinges loosening, spine ends chipped, corners and edges worn, boards rubbed. Bookplate of "Hamilton A. Roberts, Garth View" on front pastedown and ink inscription and small hole on front free endpaper. Front hinge repaired internally. Occasional ink notations to margins and some light foxing. French text.
