Full vellum and gilt. Published London: George Routledge and Sons, c1881. Folio, 11 3/4" x 15 3/4", unpaginated, 30 full page illustrations - lovely views of rural England, wood-engraved by the Brothers Dalziel, with verses and poems by Tom Taylor, plus two Dalziel advertisement leaves and a colophon leaf of Camden Press. Bound in full vellum over beveled boards, with gilt and brown titles, gilt, brown and orange cover designs. Slight loss and rub at the heel, minor rub/soil to covers, else very good plus. Internally near fine, pages and plates, clean, bright with only light, occasional foxing. . 1st. Hard. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. Illus. by Foster, Birket. Folio.
