New York: Grosset & Dunlap. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1949. Hardcover. Blue tweed cover with dark blue to spine and front cover. Black and white illustrations by Wesley Dennis. Top edge blue with fore and bottom edges deckled. FO name in pencil to FFEP but no other marks. Binding has very light wear at spine ends and corners. Unclipped DJ, now in Brodart, is chipped and torn with small pieces missing, tape and tears to front flap but surprisingly bright. ; Famous Horse Stories; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 264 pages .
