NY: A.T. DeLa Mare Co., 1924 Second edition, revised. 1/2 inch closed tear bottom of spine. Bottom spine end starting to fray. Corners bumped with boards showing. Former owner's name on front fly leaf. Two inch circular stain on top back fly leaf and back pastedown that is also seen on top of spine and into back baord about 1/2 inch. Gilt flowers and title on front board along with the gilt lettering on spine in good condition. Many nice B&W illustrations included in text. Text clean. Binding sound.

Brown boards with gold gilt lettering and golden & green flowers on front cover. Gilt top edge. Luxurious cream, silk moire endpapers. Frontispiece and tissue guard in tact. Some rubbing to cover and slight bumping of corners. Edges of spine are frayed due to age and shelfwear. Clean text.
