Paris: Albert Morance, 1925. In series "Documents d'Architecture" 4to, portfolio with embossed decoration on front cover. Spine a bit ravelled at upper joint else a very nice fresh copy. With 14 page text and 32 very pretty pochoir-colored plates (handcolored through a stencil) after copper engravings produced between 1806 and 1828, originally published as Collection des Maisons de Commerce de Paris et des Interieurs les Mieux Decores. The First Empire shops include pharmacies, perfumers, gold and silversmiths, jewelers, clockmakers, cafes, dress shops and even a beautiful butcher shop. Portfolio. Near Fine. 4to.
