New York: The Macaulay Company, 1937. First Edition. Very Good/Very Good. First edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's pebbled maroon cloth with spine lettered in yellow. Very Good with foxing to textblock edge, pages lightly toned with endsheets offset, and name blacked out on front free endpaper. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket with spine sunning, foxing, light general wear and several small scrapes. Hubbard's first published novel, and his first book to be published in hardcover.
