Pages are lightly tanned throughout. Front free endpaper cut out. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water staining to rear board.

The boards are a little shelf rubbed and slightly edge worn. The first and last pages are slightly 'browned', the text within the book remains clear and bright. The binding is excellent. GK. Gerard Fairlie was an English writer and scriptwriter, on whom McNeile supposedly based Bulldog Drummond. The usual offsetting to both sets of end-papers and some foxing to the fore-edge overall VG indeed. In the rare first issue D/W priced 7/6 net to the inside flap (as called for).
