About This Item
[n.p.]: [N.p.], 1976. Very Good. [N.p]: [n.p.], [ca. 1976]. First Edition. Printed side-stapled wraps. Octavo. 12 pages. Signed by author/artist on prologue page, "For / Richard J (?) / Thank you / Siegfried / 1979."
A series of drawings and poems with the former on verso and latter on recto sides of pages, constituting an "entertaining word-o-logue (broken sonnet form) and its visual counterpart. The drawings convey something of the enchanting juxtaposition of the lyrical chaos of the dream substance. Have fun!" [from author's prologue].
Reinhardt was a German-American artist who lived most of his life in St. Louis. His paintings and other works are held around the world and he is one of the few Americans to have a work held in the Vatican's permanent collection.
Wraps are lightly worn along edges, and one small tear to top edge near spine. Binding is sound and interior unmarked.
No copies found in retail, OCLC, or auction records.
