Covers soiled and spotted with some foxing, hinges lightly cracked, endpapers age-toned with some dampstaining to the edges which does not affect the text, occasional light finger soil, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. Oblong 16mo.

Pictorial boards show birds flying to a tree, cloth spine. B/w illustrations. A little wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers browned, and odd fox spot otherwise contents clean.

Presentation copy inscribed by Philip Hofer, previous owner of the manuscript. Good condition, blue "calico" detail wrappers printed in silver. Rear wrapper chipped 4 inches at top edge of spine, with another 1/2 inch chip to fore-edge. Tiny chip to fore-edge of front cover and small closed tear to top of spine. The missing pieces are laid in. Printed in speia on cream paper. A delightful piece of Nonsense ephemera.
