New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1937. first edition. Hardcover. Good. 9 x11 in. Not paginated. Cloth boards. Lavish B&W and color plates. Condition is GOOD ; the covers colors have faded to a yellow and the edges and spine are very toned. Covers have moderate shelf wear to edges. The spine has a tear, some chops and the tail has a small tear to the rear side. Binding however is tight and good. The endpapers have faded as well and both have small strips where something pasted in was removed. Text is bright, clean and unmarked. Scarce. Art. RGR. ETS.

New York/England: Charles Scribner's Sons/Batsford, 1937. unpaginated, yellow boards. Several hundred pages. Yellow Cloth, titles on spine in red. Shelfwear to spine ends and board edges. Light splotch on the front panel. Slight fraying to upper and lower spine ends. Spine and extremities darkened, but age wear does not affect the interior. Text block and plates are clean and bright. The beautiful color dust jacket is lacking a small fragment at the head and with a chip at the upper corner of the front panel and at the upper left hand corner of the rear panel. Lower edge of the front panel has a faint stain, else very good. in mylar sleeve, else very good. in mylar sleeve.. First Edition. Hardcover. Good+/Good. Quarto.
