Includes a portrait etching by Robinson of Twain that did not accompany the regular edition. Quarter green leather over gray wood-pattern boards, silver lettering to spine, housed in a publisher's gray cloth box with wood-pattern spine, the suite of prints is contained in a matching cloth chemise and placed in a quarter lether tray-case. A fine set with the publisher's prospectus laid in. "Mark Twain, with his account of the jumping frog, produced the most famous tale in California, if not Western, history. The Cheloniidae edition of the Jumping Frog is from "Mark Twain's Sketches, New and Old," as it was first published in complete form in 1875 by the American Publishing Co.
