Near fine. <p>Limited edition of 50 copies "set & printed by hand at The Four Winds Press by Henry Schniewind for his friends."<p>Printed for members of the Metropolitan Bridge Club. From the library of club member Roland L. Redmond, formerly President of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.<p>The Four Winds Press [1972-1988] was established on a Vandercook press in the home of retired executive Henry Schniewind of Locust Valley, Long Island, N.Y. An evening class in printing and the camaraderie of the Typophiles group contributed to his largely self-taught achievements, but more importantly it was his own feeling for the aesthetics of spacing and design and his consistent practice of pulling his own printing proofs that refined his output.<p>Rare. No other copies were located.
