Pp. x, 631 + 6 inserted engravings printed from the copper by A. Alexander and Son, 10 drawings of fish and a lead weight printed from line blocks, the fish colour stencilled at the Curwen Press. Full natural morocco with initials I.W. gilt-stamped within a gilt oval frame on front cover, 5 raised bands, gilt-stamped title to spine, marbled endpapers, all edges untrimmed, top edge gilt on the rough. Bookplate of Canadian literary giant, Robertson Davies, to front pastedown, spine very lightly sunned but not unattractively so, small scratch to front cover, otherwise a very good, clean, crisp copy.
