Faber & Faber, 1958. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1958. First Edition. 303 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Clipping of recipe pasted to front free endpaper. Light scuffing and water staining to text-block edges. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and light marking overall. Minor brown marking and water staining to surfaces. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.

From the fabled cookbook collection of Marshall Blum, with his book-plate mounted on lower fixed front endpaper and his signature stamp on bottom text block edge. Color dust jacket slightly chipped at corners and spine extremities, 1/2"-deep v-chip at head of rear joint, 3/4" stain at heel of spine panel, now in mylar. 1st ed. 303 pp. Exceptionally scarce and collectible..

Scattered foxing to the spine and to the page block edges and end-papers otherwise a bright and clean VG+ copy.
