Unpaginated (16 pp.) exhibition catalogue, with an introduction by Tommaso Trini and an essay titled "Flux-us/ing Xmutica or the anti-productive activity of Gianni-Emilio Simonetti" by Daniela Palazzoli, with texts in Italian, French, English, and Portuguese, together with a brief biography of Simonetti and a short prose piece by Simonetti titled "(Exquire Game of INspiraction! I allways addored yOur hend!)". Illustrated profusely throughout, the pages printed in a variety of bright colors. 8vo. Original staple-stitched printed wrpps., very minor soiling. Milan (Galleria Schwarz/Edizioni di Cultura Contemporanea) 1969. This catalogue from February 1969 explores the work of Simonetti, one of the rare Italian figures from the Fluxus movement in Italy. He participated in the Ed.912 series of prints and co-edited the art magazine "Bit. Arte. Oggi in Italia", which was also published by Ed.912. Beginning in 1964, influenced by John Cage, Simonetti even began composing "Mutica", seventeen pieces of silent music where the visual impact of signs and colors play a major role in the experience.

Exhibition catalogue, February 1969. With an introduction by Tommaso Trini and an essay by Daniela Palazzoli. Texts in Italian, French, English and Portuguese. Gian Emilio Simonetti was one of the rare Italian protagonists of the Fluxus movement in Italy with Giuseppe Chiari. Simonetti was the promoter of Fluxus in Milan, through the ED.912 centre, and the publication of the magazine ‘Bit’. Beginning in 1964, Simonetti, impressed by the research of John Cage, began composing ‘Mutica’, seventeen pieces of silent music where the visual aspect of the signs and colours play a primordial role. This catalogue captures how colour was important to Simonetti, with the internal pages being printed in a variety of colours.
