In the original ornately gilt decorated covers, light ly rubbed at extremities, and a little dulled to the rear board. Pages are very good within this tightly bound volume. Some sporadic foxing and very light sign of some damp trace to lower margins of the early few pages. Pages are of card and are all edged in gilt and provided, as called for, with suitable tissue guards. Often such volumes crack, there is no evidence that this one has or is likely to.
