Very clean yellow cloth boards with brown horse and rider decoration, clean green cloth spine with bright gold lettering. No fraying or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with clean blank endpapers - no names, writing or marks. Illustrated with drawings by Vladimir Kagan, and with photographs in color and black & white. 153 pages. Clean dust jacket is unchipped, not price clipped, has a 1" closed edge tear at base of front panel. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A book designed to teach the beginner the fundamentals of crewel embroidery and also to enable the more advanced worker to improve techniques and enlarge repertoire of stitches..
