Nice pages with scattered foxing and an occasional small stain. Volume IX & X: wear to the corner tips; the left edge of the spine has split 1/3 of the way down from the top, and the right edge has split 2" down from the top. Wear along the outer board edges. Tight binding with no loose pages; both covers are firmly attached. Light foxing to the pages. Both volumes have a name written in pen on the front end paper...one is dated 1842, and "$2.75" is written in pen at the upper-outer corner. Overall the volumes are in very good condition.
