Blind embossed decorative edging and detailing to boards. Red and black morrocco spine labels with gilt lettering and decoration. Raised banding to spines. In very good conditions. Covers show some wear, corners bumped, edges rubbed/chipped, ends of spines chipped. Front hinge slightly cracked on vol.1 but holding well. No loose pages or torn endpapers. Bindings all tight and sound. One or two small marks otherwise inside pages very clean and tight throughout. Vol.1 four pages at ‘CAP’ have small nick/chip to top edge. Vol. 4 lacks title pg and a couple of pages up to ‘QUA’, some creasing and marks to last pages of v.4. Else a very clean and tight copy. Unpaginated.
