In A Dark Garden by Frank G. Slaughter - 1946

This book is in good condition. There is some wear on the front, back, edges, and spine of the cover boards. There is some bumping and severe fraying on the cover boards. The pages are yellowing and tanning, but the pages are clear of any markings.

"Halfway down the ugly cobbled street, he paused to look back. The hackney still waited at the door of his inn, grotesque as an overgrown pumpkin in the fog.
