About the author

Dave Stockton has long been recognized as one of the outstanding putters in the history of the game of golf. His eleven PGA Tour victories--including two Championships--and his eleven victories to date on the Senior Tour are testaments to his skill. When he is not touring, he lives in Mentone, California.

Al Barkow has been writing professionally about golf for over thrity years. He has published nine books on golf, including several histories of the PGA Tour and instructionals written with Billy Casper, Ken Venturi, Phil Rodgers, Carl Lohren, and George Low. He is the former editor-in-chief of Golf Illustrated magazine. He lives in Montclair, New Jersey.
