Top edge of text block just a bit dusty, else a fine copy in good pictorial dust jacket (illustrated by Bruce Gaffron) with wear, tears and creases along top and bottom edges, including a 35 mm closed tear at lower edge of front panel near spine fold with surface abrasion and internal tape mend, and fade to red lettering on spine panel. Sampson Low Marston, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 142 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Hinges are moderately cracked with exposed netting. Moderate crinkling to paper at gutter. Pages and illustrations are heavily tanned and foxed with visible markings throughout. Binding throughout is slightly loose but pages remain attached. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing and splits to spine ends and corners. Lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Visible wear marks to boards.
