BELGIUM BELGE On offer is an original undated 12 x 8 inch photograph, perhaps used as a poster, wherein Belgium's greatest flying ace, Willy Coppens de Houthulst, writes a short note and autograph signature. The Belgian flyer was awarded 37 official air victories between April and October of 1918. He was injured in the last sortie, losing his left leg, but he continued to fly until 1940. Super Belgian relic of the 'Great War'. VG+. Autograph. Very Good+. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Aviation Book Club. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1935. Book Club Edition. Hardcover. Clean hardback tightly bound in green cloth with orange titles, cloth is faded to front panel, neat name/place on pastedown else internally unmarked. xvi + 292 pages, frontispiece & 7 illustrations on plates, foreword by John Salmond. Undated, but the first English (John Hamilton) printing was 1934 according to the British Library & Imperial War Museum - this ABC edition will probably be from around 1935/6 .
