(Napoli: R. Accademia delle Scienze Fisiche e Matematiche di Napoli, 1865).. 1865).. Good. - Quarto [12 inches high by 9 inches wide], softcover, printed self-wraps. 10 pages. There is a piece out of the top corner of each leaf & the bottom corners are bumped. There is light creasing to the leaves with a horizontal crease to each leaf where the pamphlet has been folded. There is a repaired tear to the front edge of each leaf at the fold. Ex-library with a library blind stamp and a discard stamp on the title. Good only. <p>Inscribed along the top of the title page and signed "l'autore".<p>Ferdinando De Luca [1785-1869] was a Naples geographer and mathematician. This text, which is in Italian, with some passages in French, advocates a universal meridian, which would be recognized by all countries.
