Fair reading copy.

This work, which began as a history of Northport [and includes a lengthy 28-page "jingle" in rhyming couplets titled "Beautiful Northport"] expanded to include the whole of Huntington Township, especially the early history of Babylon and Northport which were closely linked to that of Huntington.
