Akron, Ohio: Werner Co, 1900. Hardcover. Good -. [6], 181, [1] p., 41 leaves of color plates; 45 cm. Black cloth with gilt cover title: Deutschlands Heer und Flotte. Title page in red and black. Text in parallel columns of German and English; plate captions in both languages. Some plates are labelled "After G. Arnould"; all plates they have been numbered in pencil on the margins by a former owner. A very heavy book; for international shipping, it will have to be sent by priority international. In Good- Condition: lacking spine; covers detached but present and soiled; title page detached but present with chipping and loss along all edges; the color plates appear to have been removed and then reattached along the gutter with brown tape; finger soiling in margins of plates; occasional small closed tears from edges.
